Hello!

My name is Luis Gerardo Castellanos. I comefrom Venezuela, but now I live in Spain.

I began my animation career in a tv production company in venezuela, I was 3d animation generalist assistant, and I began making small animation, modeling and renders for tv comercials.

I worked for production and televisions companys too.

In spain I had worked for EUVE (European Virtual Engineering) in the television department, making virtual sets and 3d animations.

I worked in TVE (National Spain Television), I was the Virtual Set Director of TV Show Los Lunnis , a sitcom for children.

We used Brainstorm Estudio to make virtual backgrounds and visual effects in realtime.

I had worked for some (Six Birds, Grupo Studio), TV series (Aviatrix, El Señor Studio, TVE) and commercial spots (Mentopia, Boolab).

I did the Animation Mentor course, and curently I am working as a Rigger and Animator freelance with Autodesk Softimage and Maya.

I Focus my job in Softimage and Maya, but I use to work with Modo, Lightwave and Unity too.

Mi nombre es Luis Gerardo Castellanos, Soy Venezolano pero vivo actualmente en España.

Empece mi carrera en la animación en una pequeña empresa productora en Venezuela, Fui asistente de animación, y empece haciendo pequeñas animaciones, modelado y renders para comerciales de televisión.

En España empece trabajando para EUVE (European Virtual Engineering) en el departamento de Televisión, haciendo escenografías virtuales y animaciones 3d.

Trabaje en TVE, como Director de Sets Virtuales en Los Lunnis. Usabamos Brainstorm Estudio para realizar fondos CGI y efectos especiales.

He trabajado en varias producciones de cine (Six Birds, Grupo Studio), Series de TV (Aviatrix, El Señor Studio, TVE) y productoras de comerciales para TV (Mentopia, Boolab).

Actualmente soy freelance de Rigging y Animación en Softimage y Maya.

Suelo trabajar tambien con Luxology Modo, Newtek Lightwave, Unity, etc.
